Don’t allow yourself to be defined by your mistakes, or held captive by shame and regret. Rather, be defined and daily reminded of who you are and what’s been done for you in and through Christ Jesus; you are a redeemed, sanctified, born again, child of the most high God! You are set apart! You are holy! You are worthy, and you are loved with an everlasting, unconditional love! Now, read all that again, out load, and say it like you believe it!!

I am constantly amazed at all the amazing facets of God's character and the power of his Word. This past week was no exception. God revealed to me that there is a difference between remorse and repentance. With remorse, we surrender our guilt to God, but there is no change in our will. With repentance, we surrender our will to God, and then there is a change to our behavior.
