We're so pleased to share that on Sunday, we met our initial pledge goal of $250,000 for the Rooted for Renewal Campaign! Thanks be to God! These gifts, over and above our tithes and offerings, will help us set deep roots in our neighborhood as we move back into northwest Des Moines.

Meeting our goal is not a finish line but a mile marker. The closer we get to our stretch goal of $500,000, the more flexibility we will have to carry out our mission to gather neighbors to join God in the renewal of all things.

A couple of things: we are now in the stage of collecting pledges. This can be done by giving in person and marking the gift “Rooted for Renewal.” Or, you can set up your giving online here: https://resurrectiondsm.churchcenter.com/unproxy/giving/to/rooted-for-renewal-capital-campaign

Also, it is not too late to pledge and join in this collective work. Please prayerfully consider participating in the project!

Our congregation is working on something big. We've agreed on the terms for the purchase of the former Traviss Audio and Video building at 49th and Douglas in Des Moines. This evening from 6:00 - 7:30 PM, we'll hold an open house at the building to give everyone a chance to see how worship and ministry can take place here in the future. Our aim is to be deeply rooted in the neighborhood for the sake of renewal. You're invited!
