Join us for Holy Week services beginning tonight:

Maundy Thursday: Here at Aldersgate at 7:00 pm. We will have the opportunity to begin this Three Holy Days period with a Holy Thursday Service of gathering, spending time in conversation and participating in Communion at 7:00 p.m. The informal service will be held in the Narthex Gathering Area around tables and will include time of conversation.

Good Friday: Walnut Hills UMC at 7:00 pm https://whumc.org/ we again have the opportunity to join with other churches in our circuit – this time at Walnut Hills United Methodist Church (12321 Hickman Rd in Urbandale) – for a combined Good Friday Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. this Friday, April 7th. The service will include music, liturgy, and scripture readings.
The service will also stream on the https://www.facebook.com/whunmdsmiowa and their https://www.youtube.com/ page.

Easter Sunday Morning: Here at Aldersgate at 9:30 am. Join as we worship our Risen Savior!

Today, we enter the season of Lent! Join us tonight for our Community Ash Wednesday service at 7:00pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church or streaming right here!

Our focus this season is SEEKING, and we will explore some of the questions that were raised as Jesus encountered people in his ministry.

As we, too, wrestle with questions, we can find ourselves going deeper and growing closer to God.

Due to the forecasted Winter Storm Warning, we’ve made the following decisions about closings and rescheduling our midweek services:

· Our Longest Night Service, scheduled for Wednesday, December 21st has been rescheduled as an Epiphany Themed Service for January 4th at 4:00 p.m.

· The Church Office will be closed on Thursday, December 22nd.

· The Women at the Well service, scheduled for Thursday, December 2nd has been rescheduled for December 29th at 7:00 p.m.

Currently the Christmas Eve Lessons, Carols and Candles Service, scheduled for Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and our Sunday Christmas Day service at 9:30 a.m. remain scheduled as planned. If there are changes to the Saturday or Sunday schedule those will be communicated as soon as any decision is made.
