A variety of things can contribute to why we may do this, but they generally revolve around some form of “I shouldn’t feel these

Easier and Better -- I go in and out of phases where I enjoy reading parenting books. Because of that, it’s sometimes hard to really appreciate just how incredible he is. But I’m often reminded of his dominance because he is the top competitor of my favorite rider, Jonas Vingegaard. In utterly astonishing fashion, Pogacar took the lead early in this year’s Tour. But the last

Time -- I’m reading Beautiful Chaos by Jessica Urlichs, and her poem “I Would Tell Her” is about things she would tell herself in her early days of motherhood. What struck me most about this poem is how it ends. Urlichs says: Only I won’t tell her these things, because she will forget, like we all do, so that we can discover them for ourselves, as we’re meant to Reading this book coincided with one of the few times my sons were okay with me listening to my own music on a car ride. We were listening to Zach Bryan, and his
