Join us as we gather for an evening of Scripture, music, prayer, Communion, and reflection as we consider the sacrifice of our Savior.

This year’s meditation, “A Medical Doctor’s Description of the Crucifixion,” will be shared by Pastor Mark—offering a sobering and meaningful perspective on what Christ endured for us.

🌿 Palm Sunday — “Hosanna in the Highest!” 🌿

Today we remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, as crowds waved palm branches and cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

There is something especially powerful about hearing those same words lifted up through the voices of our children. Their joyful song—“Hosanna in the highest, amen”—reminds us of the beauty of simple, genuine praise.

As we begin Holy Week, may their voices lead our hearts to worship with humility, joy, and expectation.
The King has come… and He is worthy of all our praise.

Hosanna in the highest. Amen.

As a church family, we are entering a meaningful season of prayer and fasting together.

Beginning Thursday, March 26, we invite you to join us each week as we seek the Lord—asking for wisdom, unity, and guidance as we continue the training and evaluation of officer candidates and begin the search for our next Senior Pastor.

Whether you fast from a meal or more, this is an opportunity to intentionally set aside time to pray and draw near to God together.

You are also invited to join us at our Thursday prayer meetings as we come before Him as one body.

If you’d like more information, a detailed guide is available on the welcome table in the Narthex, or feel free to speak with Pastor Nathan or one of our elders.

Let’s seek the Lord together.

We’re so grateful for what God is doing at Westkirk. ❤️

This month, we had the joy of welcoming new members and families into our church community—and it’s something worth celebrating.

Each person and family brings a unique story, gifts, and a desire to grow in faith. Watching the body of Christ grow in this way is such a reminder of God’s kindness and faithfulness to our church.

To our new members: we are truly glad you’re here.
We look forward to worshiping together, walking alongside one another, and growing deeper in Christ as a church family.

Westkirk isn’t just a place to attend—it’s a place to belong.

If you see these faces on a Sunday morning, take a moment to say hello and welcome them. Let’s continue to be a church marked by genuine love and community.

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” – Ephesians 2:19

As we step into a new year, we do so with confidence—not in our own understanding, but in the faithfulness of the Lord who goes before us.

Whatever this year may hold, may our hearts remain rooted in trust, guided by His wisdom, and strengthened by His grace.
