The community food closet is critically low. Our neighbors need your help. Can you pick up an extra item or two the next time you are at the store?

I don't think anyone could have predicted at the beginning of the football season that these two teams would meet in the Super Bowl on February 8th. In the same way, most people never imagined that at some point they would need help securing food for themselves and their family. Our food closet helps those experiencing food insecurity with compassionate and dignified support.
To help the food closet provide for our neighbors, we are going to have our own competition! There is a table near the sanctuary - one half of the table for the Seahawks and the other half for the Patriots. Bring in your food and cash donations and place them on the end of the table of the team you think will win. On February 8th, we'll total up the donations and see which team NBCC favors for the big game. ($1 or 1 pound = 1 pt.)
All the food and donations will go to the Community Food Closet. So the real winner will be the neighbors that our food and cash donations will help!
