Find out more info about the amazing summer trip opportunities for the teens of St. Patrick's at the Mission Trip & Steubenville Conference Info Meeting. The meeting will be on Sunday, December 11th @ 6 pm in the Main Hall. Attendance to the meeting is required for all teens wanting to go on either of the trips (one parent and the teen must both be present at the meeting). Both trips are open to incoming freshman (for 2017-18 school-year) through seniors graduating in Spring 2017. The short 30 minute meeting will give everyone the details about both trips. We had around 15 teens involved last summer with both trips and are hoping to double our numbers this year!!

What is Mission Trip? This year we will be partnering with the group Young People Who Care which is located in Pennsylvania. Teens will spend a week working on a variety of projects around the community, including yard-work, construction, visiting nursing homes, and serving at soup kitchens. The Mission Trip will occur during the week of June 25th.

What is Steubenville Youth Conference? It is a 3 day conference where over 3,000 teens from all over the country gather to hear talks given by internationally acclaimed speakers, testimonies and sharing of stories from other teens, share in mass and adoration like you've never experience before, and have an overall fun and spiritually fruitful time. There will be live music, too! We will be headed to the conference in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Friday, July 21st- Sunday, July 23rd.

There will be a witness talk, guided reflection, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and music. Confession will also be available. Afterwards, join us in the Main Hall for snacks and fellowship. Please invite your friends! This event is open to non-CREW teens.

The Fall CREW Lock-In is a WEEK AWAY! The Youth Ministry Team has a fun night planned, packed with movies, a scavenger hunt, dodgeball, board games, rosary making, and more! Doors open @ 7:30 pm on Friday and everyone must arrive by 8 pm. For people not sleeping over, their parents must pick them up at 10:30 pm. Otherwise, parents will be picking up their teens at 9 am Saturday.

TEENS CANNOT DRIVE THEMSELVES TO THIS EVENT, since we will not be getting a lot of sleep, we do not want teens driving home exhausted.

Jordan is in her second (and final) year of her master's program and she is currently interning as a therapist in Paxton. Jordan loves camping and the outdoors, playing board games, drinking coffee, and taking naps. She has a pet hamster and a rock climbing wall in her house. Jordan is excited for this year in CREW, especially the Teen Dinners and Steubenville!

We have had to postpone the CREW Day of Service due to weather and low attendance - there is no service opportunity tomorrow 1-4 pm. However we will be re-scheduling the CREW Fall Day of Service to Sunday, Oct 16 1-4pm @ the Phoenix Center. Keep an eye out for new Evites (be sure to RSVP!) and more information in the coming days.

Claire recently graduated from the University of Illinois and earned a degree in Human Nutrition. She also has two minors in Biology and Chemistry. Claire currently works as the Hall Office Manager at St. John's Catholic Newman Center at U of I, and is applying to medical schools. Claire is involved in the Newman Center on campus where she leads a women's Bible study, mentors girls through the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), and helps with retreats. She enjoys singing, taking road trips, listening to podcasts, working out, and cooking. This is Claire's first year working with CREW, and she is so excited to grow in friendship with all of you!

Austin is a Junior studying chemistry and food science. He is the youngest of six children and has nine nieces and nephews. He especially enjoys interactive museums. This is his first year with CREW, and he looks forward to getting to know everyone!

Mick is an MCB and English major, pre med and a transfer from the University of Denver. Mick loves all sports and also anything outdoors, and also chess and ping pong. He does a lot of work with FOCUS (the Fellowship of Catholic University Students) and is also involved with the Knights of Columbus. Mick does not let being a ginger get in the way of achieving his dreams.
