Join us in person or online for our Annual Water Ingathering Service! "An Ever-flowing Stream: Annual Ingathering Water Service" with Rev. Beth Monhollen at 10:15 am.

Our annual water service is the official beginning of the church program year. This all-ages service invites you to reflect on the power of water in our lives, and to commit to pour out your own gifts with generosity and love. The choir will sing and everyone is invited to bring water from your summer travels or just your tap for water ritual and bring a dish for the all-church potluck after the service.

Hope to see you there!

Join us in person or online for "Original Blessing" at 10:15 am on Sunday August 30th with Rev. Beth Monhollen.

We often avoid talking about sin and evil in contemporary Unitarian Universalism, but this leaves us ill-equipped to address the many harms of our world. Even as we proclaim the Universalist tenet that we are born inherently loved and blessed, we can recongize that humanity's choices take us far from that orignial blessing. If we frame "sin" not as something we are born with, but rather as choices to disconnect from the truth of our interdependence, we can more readily name sin and repair ourselves and our communities. Rev. Beth leads with Stephanie Johansson as Worship Associate.

Hope to see you there!

Join us in person or online for "Dem Dry Bones" on Sunday August 23rd at 10:15 am with Rev. Beth Monhollen.

African-American politician, author, and leader James Weldon Johnson is known for composing the lyrics to "Lift Every Voice and Sing" which became the Black national Anthem. And he also wrote a children's song inspired by the Book of Ezekiel from the Hebrew scriptures - "Dem Dry Bones" - which connects the bones of the body from toe to head and serves as a reminder that our bodies are both sacred and ordinary. When we take time to connect past and present; mind, heart, and body; holy and profane - we move deeper into our connections with our own souls and the wider world. We'll continue to explore our monthly theme of Connection with song and story. Rev. Beth leads with Paul Weston as Worship Associate.

Hope to see you there!

Happy International Nonbinary People’s Day! 💛🤍💜🖤

➡️ What does it mean to be “nonbinary”?
Nonbinary refers to people who do not subscribe to the gender binary. Some use the term exclusively, while others may use it interchangeably with terms like genderqueer, genderfluid, gender non-conforming, gender diverse, or gender expansive. It can also be combined with other descriptors e.g. nonbinary woman or transmasc nonbinary. Language is imperfect, so it’s important to trust and respect the words that nonbinary people use to describe their genders and experiences.

To all of our nonbinary loved ones: We see you, we support you, and we're proud of you! 💛🤍💜🖤
