It is our joy to share that Bishop LaTrelle Easterling has appointed Rev. Laurel McNeal as a new pastor of The Community Parish of Northern Baltimore County. Pastor McNeal will begin her new responsibilities on July 1 of this year. As United Methodist churches, we are a part of an appointment system. The Community Parish’s Staff Parish Relations Committee has met with the District Superintendent to identify our Parish’s needs and the needed skills in a pastor. They also met with Pastor Laurel to get to know her and ask questions. We look forward to working with Pastor Laurel and the conference so that we continue to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
