David was destined to be King. His alliance with Achish was a comfortable place for him. The removal of Ziklag forced David's hand to #1, become his own encourager. We have to learn to be our own supporter, and remain confident in God's ability to fulfill his word; #2, strategize how to get back what was lost; #3 to enact his strategy and recover all.
