In God’s Math, Rev. Dr. Bryan L. Carter reminded us that God’s calculations won’t always make sense by our standards. He may subtract before He multiplies. He may reduce what you’re depending on so your faith can grow. And He may give you a strategy that looks completely different from the one you had in mind.

The question is, can you still trust God when His math doesn’t add up to you?

Gideon’s victory wasn’t found in having enough people. It was found in trusting the God who was more than enough. So before you count yourself out because you don’t have enough resources, connections, money, help or answers, remember who is doing the math.

Faith over figures. Trust God with the numbers and follow His strategy.

September is here, and while a new month can feel like a fresh start, nothing changes just because the calendar did. We still have to be intentional about how we show up.

So maybe this is the month you finally register for the class. Join the ministry. Attend the gathering. Invite the friend. Serve. Learn. Meet somebody new. Do something that moves your faith from something you talk about to something you actively live.

Be A Disciple. Make A Disciple.

You’ve been asking God to change the situation. Maybe it’s time to ask Him for a strategy to walk through it.

On Young Adult Sunday, Rev. Dr. Bryan L. Carter reminded us that the same God who gave Joshua, Noah, Nehemiah and so many others a strategy is still giving His people wisdom today. Whatever the season looks like, your finances, your family, your business, your healing, your relationships or your future, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Ask God, “Give me a strategy for this.” Then be willing to listen, obey and move when He gives you direction. The answer may require discipline, patience or a step you haven’t considered yet, but God knows exactly what this season requires. 💜
