Friday, June 30th, CLC held another Movie night. We showed 'Chicken Run'; a fun claymation movie for all ages! Attendance was light at first,but many showed up after the movie started; I believe attendance was at least 30. Various complimentary refreshments were enjoyed; including soft pretzels, popcorn and hot dogs. Check in for our next scheduled Movie Night on the lawn and join us for some casual free fun!

On Saturday,May 27 a Meet and Greet was held for our pastoral candidate Vicar W. Roger Randolph III. The next day, after the 10:30 worship service, the congregation held a meeting and voted on whether to follow the call committee's and the Council's recommendations to offer Vicar Roger the position as Pastor of our beloved Christ Lutheran Community Church. The energy was very electric during the meeting and we heard many wonderful reasons that Vicar Roger would be a great fit as Pastor of our church. The vote was taken and counted; it was nearly unanimous. We voted to offer him the position. Most graciously, Victor Roger returned to the meeting, to boisterous applause and congratulations from the congregation. Unofficially, he has verbally accepted the call and we couldn't be more excited to have him join our church community.

On Friday,May 19th, CLC hosted another movie night on our front lawn. We showed ,"How to train a Dragon". Complimentary refreshments were offered: hotdogs, Philly soft pretzels, popcorn, candy and assorted beverages. There were 40 people in attendance and the weather was quit nice. What a blessing it is that we can share this sort of casual fellowship with our community!!

This past Friday, Sept 23, we hosted another Movie night. We offered free refreshments: popcorn, hot dogs, warm apple cider and assorted chocolate candies. We showed ,"How to Train Your Dragon II". It was a small crowd, with many regulars. Children and adults of all ages appeared to have a wonderful time. Thank you to all of the volunteers that made this possible. The pic below is from before we started the movie.
