We belong to a 200-year old conference of churches called Indiana Yearly Meeting of Friends, which in turn is a part of the Evangelical Friends Church International. We put special emphasis on having a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. At the center of our faith is the forgiveness of sins that comes through faith in Christ and his work on the cross. We have discovered that when
we center our lives upon Jesus Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit and the Bible to guid us, we begin to reflect the character of Jesus: gentleness, peace, simplicity, equality, moral purity, and integrity. Every day we experience God’s love and power to forgive us and make us whole. Our name comes from John 15:14-15 where Jesus said to his disciples “You are my friends if you do what I command.” Having been forgiven of our sins by Jesus’ death and resurrection, we are now Friends of God! We have been made new! That is awesome news worth sharing! Is God calling you to join us??? We are a group of disciples of Jesus who are serious about following him. Our guidebook is the Bible.
