Our Story
We are a young church that belongs to a growing denomination called the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA). God, in His Providence, then put us in touch with other like-minded Christians. Convinced that Christ was working, Zeltenreich Reformed Church (New Holland, PA) decided to begin this mission work in 2013. We are now in our eighth year together, have become self-governing (with elders & deacons), and look forward to further growth. Our Worship
The Scriptures teach that worship is an event wherein God renews His covenant with His church. This occurs as God speaks His Law and Gospel to us (the reading and preaching of Scripture) and as we respond to Him (confession, prayer, & praise). In other words, worship is a covenant dialogue between a holy God and His holy People. Instead of conforming to today’s trends and fads, we worship with simplicity, joy, and reverence - as the synagogues (pre-Christ), the Ancient Church, and those during the Reformation. We participate in a Divinely-instituted drama that transcends generations and cultures. Our Beliefs
Westside Reformed Church is a confessional church, founded upon the Scriptures alone. We believe that the teaching of the Bible is faithfully summarized in the ecumenical Creeds (2nd-7th c. AD) and our Reformed Confessions: The Belgic Confession (1561), Heidelberg Catechism (1563), and Canons of Dort (1618-19). We celebrate and look to these documents as a source of comfort, instruction, and strength.
