Our mother, Virginia Gorman, was diagnosed over the weekend with a non-cancerous Meningioma brain tumor about the size of a lemon, at the back of her skull, which is putting pressure on the brain.
Doctors stated this could be the cause of her recent problems with dizziness, confusion, hallucinations, etc. They said once its removed, her quality of life could improve greatly.
We met with the neurosurgeon today who stated her health is very good, and believes she will do well with surgery, presently scheduled for Monday, May 1, at 7am.
We have restricted her inbound calls to family only for the immediate future. We hope you understand and aren't offended. We promise to post timely updates.
Thank you for your prayers and understanding as Mother goes through the surgery and healing process.
