We have published our newest lesson in the feast and festival series from Leviticus ~ the Feast of Booths (also known as the Feast of Tabernacles). This is a very interactive, hands-on lesson taking students on a journey through Leviticus 23 which describes God's instructions for the feast to John 7 and 8 where Jesus celebrated the feast all the way to the modern celebration. In the end, students learn that Jesus made some bold declarations about himself as He celebrated the Feast of Booths. Using traditional festival elements as object lessons, Jesus proclaimed that He is the Light of the World and the Living Water. Did you know that Hanukkah and Christmas coincide this year (2024)?!? This four to five hour lesson unit is a great bridge between the two holidays as we focus on the historical narrative and contemporary celebration of Hanukkah.
