Yesterday marked 5 years since we lost Tyler. His killer is up for parole. He plead to 8 years and that's the most he will have to serve. After that, he goes on with his life.... Tyler does not. Ropka agreed to 8 years. That's nothing compared to the lives destroyed, hearts forever broken and all the pain that was brought on to so many people. I believe that since he agreed to 8 years that he should do all 8 years and show remorse for what he's done. That's the least he could do. Unfortunately, the way our justice system works, he may be released early and be free to live his life.
You can help keep him in prison to serve his full sentence by writing a protest letter and mail or email it. You can say whatever you like. You can even just write a few sentences on how Tyler touched your life. Anything and everything helps.

January 14, 1991... My life was changed forever when I gave birth to Tyler at 8:55am. He was always an amazingly compassionate, loving, respectful son. The world needs more people to have a heart like Tyler....So tender, understanding, empathic and loving. He taught me so much and I, as well as everyone he crossed paths with were blessed to have known him. My heart breaks everyday and I will always mourn him. He was and continues to be my angel.
