Pew Giveaway
On February 26, 2022, we will be removing our old pews from the Chapel in preparation for bringing in the new chairs. If you would like to have any of the old pews, you may pick them up between 9AM and 11AM on that day. We will have help available to load them on your trailer. The pews are 10 feet long and will be given out on a FCFS basis. Donations will be accepted but are not necessary.

CHAIR FUND UPDATE
We are replacing our pews with chairs! 170 chairs are needed. Total cost will be $11,000 . We have raised $7,780 so far!!!

We need at least another $2000 before we are able to order the chairs. It will take 6 - 8 weeks for them to be delivered, so we need to order them before March 25, 2022,

We are Hiring
a Camp Associate for Summer 2022!

Every year Pickett Lake Camp hires a Camp Associate for the summer months. The Camp Associate is responsible for serving as Lifeguard for all swimming activities as well as performing maintenance, housekeeping and landscaping duties as needed. The Camp Associate position begins June 1 and continues until the end of Summer Camp (usually August 10). Lifeguard certification is required, but we will arrange for training if necessary. Applicants must be 16 years of age by June 1, 2022, have transportation and must be able to complete the Lifeguard training course.

COVID-19 Update
We continue to hope in offering a full summer of camp experiences. At this time, programs scheduled in late May and beyond, including summer camps, are on as planned pending further guidance from government and health officials. As the situation is fluid and may change with very little notice in the coming weeks, we will continue to evaluate and update our policies weekly.
