“Total Athlete Camp” challenges today’s student-athlete in a way most don’t expect when they arrive. From early morning workouts to late night discussions, the physical mental and spiritual training is all focused on honoring God with our gifts and abilities and we are grateful for everyone that poured in time and energy for the sake of the gospel!

New this year, we were excited to welcome Mike Jirik, co-founder of WooshBall, to Total Athlete Camp.

“WooshBall is the ultimate game-changer, providing an action-packed experience that’s accessible to all players, no matter their skill level. With innovative rules that keep things fresh and exciting, WooshBall will surely leave everyone feeling energized and having a blast!

With WooshBall, the days of slow-paced, traditional games are long gone. Gameplay is a thrilling, energizing experience that players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy. Plus, our WooshBat makes it easy for anyone to step up and become a hitter!”

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Total Athlete Camp in Jacksonville, IL at Illinois College.

Athletes and coaches gathered with one purpose: to discover what it truly means to do sports God’s way and to train physically, mentally, and spiritually.

We competed hard, laughed often, built lifelong friendships, and made memories that will last for years.

Sports were never meant to be our identity. They are a platform to glorify God, influence others, and pursue excellence with humility, integrity, serving, and teamwork.

As everyone heads back to their teams, schools, and communities, our prayer is that camp doesn’t become just another great week of the summer. May it be the starting point of a lifetime of following Jesus and competing for an audience of One.

Thank you to every camper, coach, huddle leader, volunteer, donor, and staff member who made this week possible. Your investment is making an eternal impact.

The season is coming. Go do sports God’s way.

Total Athlete Camp Day #2 is coming to a close.

These athletes are putting in the work, overcoming adverse conditions, and digging in deep in more than one way. For the past 2 days they’ve been challenged physically, emotionally, intellectually, but most important spiritually.

“You’re on one side of the road or the other… you’re either in or you’re out… you’ll end up dead like roadkill if you just stay in the middle (of the road).” - Ron Brown, paraphrased.

It’s been an incredible first two days and we’re ready for what’s in store for tomorrow’s final day!!

We packed A LOT into Day #1 of camp!!!

Camp picture, Doing Sports Gods Way foundational training, zoom call with Cardinals player JJ Wetherholt, a HOT workout on the Illinois College football field, and wrapping up with evening chapel session.

Total Athlete Camp is just getting started and these campers are crushing it! More importantly, they’re learning what it means to be totally released, fully surrendered, to Do Sports Gods Way.

Camp season is in full swing!!

This week we had the opportunity to lead a “Coach Talk” (focusing on FCA values to build a program) and two separate athlete huddles at the Iron Sharpens Iron team wrestling camp hosted at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Next week we’re in Jacksonville IL for the FCA Total Athlete camp.

Grateful for opportunities to open God’s Word with coaches and athletes from across the nation and be encouraged in our walk!
