*UPDATED*

G E N E S I S - Lesson 3
This Thursday, 10/22

😱 WHO AM I? Why am I here?

⁉️ For many, these are the most fundamental questions of human existence.

📖 The Bible addresses these questions right from the start in the first chapter of Genesis, telling us what happened “in the beginning.”

🌎 God’s creation of the earth was a spectacular prequel. He wanted more than just a beautiful planet to gaze at.

👫 He wanted people. People made in His own image. People He could be in relationship with. None of us are here by accident.

♥️ Genesis tells of God’s intentionality and purposefulness in creating human beings, which has a very real effect on how we view our lives today.

From Genesis, lesson✌️commentary, page 13:

“THINK ABOUT God’s control over chaos…

Our world often feels chaotic. We feel the chaos when we’re reading the daily news. We can feel it in our work, relationships, households, and to-do lists. 🌀

Sometimes our very minds feel chaotic, filled with dark, messy, or out-of-control thoughts. 😵‍💫

What a comforting picture Genesis 1:2 offers—God’s Spirit hovering over the void and darkness as He gets ready to bring order. ♥️

This verse is a clear message that God’s Spirit is powerful enough to bring life and order out of any chaos.” 🕊️
