“I have been working with and advocating for the Happiness Foundation for over 10 years now. God is clearly working through the Foundation to reach orphans transitioning out of orphanages. This special organization holds a special place in my heart.

This year I am fundraising to help support the Happy Moms program for young single mothers. These mothers graduated out of orphan care and are now raising their children and breaking cycles.

These funds will help provide several therapies and much needed medical care for the mothers and their children. Speech therapy for one of the girls, mental healthcare for both mothers and dental care for all of them will be covered by the $3000 goal.”

Vivi, Puentes Director, and her husband Gonzalo who is on of our psychologists were able to attend the CAFO summit for Latin America.

Trainings, worship, encouragement and connections were central to the conference.

The next generation making an IMPACT! Happiness loves young adults! They are the “why” behind Puentes and Happy Moms. When a team of young adults join us on mission we see God work through peer relationships and change lives both in Ecuador and stateside! Most of the young adults on this trip have been coming to Ecuador throughout high school. Mission opportunities are creating the next generation of leaders who will continue the call to “Go”, serve their churches well, and mature as disciple-makers! Thank you Impact580.church for investing resources in opportunities for young people to serve in Ecuador. This group gave of themselves, shared their stories, brought the energy, smiles, laughs, and friendship. Helped a church in the shadow of the Equator launch their very first VBS, moved a Christian school closer to being ready to open their doors in August, and proved the power of presence in the lives of our Puentes and Happy Moms….God Sees You and So Do We!

Grace Community Fannett a group of couples and one mother/daughter duo serving together! You brought laughter, wisdom, fun, creativity...hard workers, teachers, homemakers, encouragers, storytellers, painters, and good cooks! You prayed fervently for the young adults we pour our ministry efforts into and we saw God move in them and among us. You brought gifts, lots of gifts.... gifts that said, "We see you, we think about you and we care about you, and YOU are loved by our good God!" You planned and prepared VBS for a church with some of the most joyful children and adults in Ecuador. Thank you for all the beautiful ways you gave of yourselves so others experienced the love of Christ!

2 Teams ~ 1 Week = DOUBLE the Blessings!! Grace Community and IMPACT 580 came together for our last week of summer hosting to form a multi-generational team of members from 12 to 74 years old. What an amazing week of VBS, paint, work projects, encouraging young adults, praying, sharing testimonies…all culminating with the Annual Puentes Retreat!! Stay tuned for a post about each of these amazing churches and their week of Happiness!

Week 2 of our Summer Mission Teams brought 18 friends from First Baptist Church of Benton, AR!! A busy, beautiful week of Community and Orphanage Medical Clinics, eyeglass and dental hygiene kit distribution, children’s activities, and family dinners with Puentes and Happy Moms! All the efforts were anchored in prayer and evangelism bringing Glory to God and encouraging His people!
