Earlier this year, 5 teams including one from Ebenezer Baptist Church CLT served in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa. While most of the crew repaired roof damage, several team members built temporary tiny houses. It was another reminder that where ever we go, we leave lasting footprints.

How long will we be working in western NC after Helene? With 31 new homeowners asking for help just last month, it’s hard to say. Many are out of resources, and others have no one to turn to.

When Hurricane Florence destroyed her home in Maple Hill, NC she never gave up hope. Thanks to all the volunteers, DPS Disaster Recovery, NCORR and God’s perfect timing in spite of all the difficulties of rebuilding on this site, hope turned into reality this week. Thank you for helping us offer Relief For Today And Hope For Tomorrow.
