Hello Beautiful Gate Women, and Happy 2026!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a peaceful start to the New Year.

If you are new to The Gate, my name is Shelby Miles, and I lead Women's Ministry along with Laura Beth Peters and Joanna Fowler. If we have not met you yet, Welcome!!! We are so glad that you are here.

As a team we have been thinking and praying for direction for meaningful ways for the women of our church to meet with Jesus and each other on a consistent basis this year. Looking ahead, our heart for this year is to host monthly prayer and worship nights - simple, sacred spaces where we can come together, be with one another, and receive from Him. More details on that coming soon.

For this first time together in 2026, we want to invite you to join us this Thursday, January 22nd at 6:30 in the church house for a special evening set apart for Women - A night to worship, breathe deeply, and be still before God. Amy Phillips will help guide us to help create space to rest in His presence, to listen, to pray for one another, and to remember that He is God and we are held. This is a night without striving, full of grace, quiet worship, and meaningful connection. Feel free to bring a journal with you.

*One other thing I wanted to share is that now through the ChurchCenter app, you can send in prayer requests that come directly to me, and you can also sign up for Freedom Prayer as well. We have a weekly email that goes out to a team of people that would love to walk with you in prayer in whatever season you are in, so please feel free to send in prayer requests there anytime.

Hello everyone!

Excited to pray and worship with you tomorrow evening at the prayer house at 6:30 PM.

For those of you that have never been to the Prayer House, our team took a short video to show you where to park, etc., and have it posted here 🙂

Please feel free to bring your Bible, journal, water, and/or a friend. Also, if you cannot stay the whole time, still come! Feel total freedom to come and go as you need to. We are really anticipating a beautiful touch from the Lord for everyone that comes.

Hello Gate family, you may or may not know but Suzanne and Mike Stroud have been facing many health challenges... so we are wanting to stand along side them and do what we can to make something a little easier for their family as they navigate through this. If you can bring a meal, it will be for all of the Weaver family (pictured below) and Suzanne as well. They live next door to one another ☺️

Hi ladies! While our beloved Mike Stroud continues to recover with nutritious juices Rachel Stroud Weaver prepares for him daily, it would be wonderful for us to bless the Weavers! Rachel, and Suzanne, are tending to his needs and doctor appointments, etc with Rachel still needing to prepare three meals for 7 people in her own family every day. She often shares with her mom too. We have established a meal train to bless them every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of June. Please join in the fun and blessings!
