Discovery Support Groups A non-profit Christian based support group where we discover our true value in Christ. The difference between a human "doer" and a human "being".

Discovery Support Groups - What it is and what it isn’t. Discovery is a support group that helps individuals/women discover their own personal value as defined by God the Father - ABBA, demonstrated by Jesus, His son and inspired by His helper, the Holy Spirit. We use the following tools to help guide us in conjunction with our Bibles.
-Search for Significance - Robert McGee
-Boundaries - Dr, Henry McCloud & Dr. John Townsend
-Healing for Damaged Emotions - David A. Seamands
-Making Peace with Your Past - Tim Sledge
-The Anger Workbook - Les Carter, Ph.D & Frank Minirth, M.D. Discovery is not simply a social gathering. It is where we gather to work and support one another for 12-16 weeks depending on the group, as we journey through life to improve our relationships with ABBA, ourselves, our spouses, families, friends and co-workers. It is not easy by any means but is incredibly rewarding and abundantly freeing. Groups are formed by word of mouth only. Groups are defined by requested need. Search for Significance is encouraged as the first group to participate in and of course repeating is always encouraged. If you would like to participate or know of someone who would benefit from any Discovery Group, please contact me directly with your specific desire, ie. Search, Boundaries, etc.
