The BWIM Mentoring Program gives Baptist women in their first three years of professional ministry, or their first three years in a new ministry context, a community of people ready to encourage, support, and walk alongside them.

Applications for the 2027–2028 cohort are open through September 15.

More than four decades ago, Rev. Nancy Hastings Sehested called for women to have equal responsibility — an equal “ability to respond” — to the needs of our world through faithful ministry.

On Women’s Equality Day, we celebrate those who have helped open doors for Baptist women to follow God’s call, and we give thanks for the women who continue to preach, pastor, lead, serve, and carry the witness of Jesus Christ into the world.
