This October, (and really every month) we hold in our hearts all those affected by breast cancer: those facing a new diagnosis, those in treatment, those living beyond cancer, those who have lost loved ones, and the family members and caregivers walking alongside them.

If this is part of your story, please know you are not alone. May you find strength in community, comfort in difficult moments, and hope for the days ahead.

May we continue to show up for one another with compassion, prayer, and love.

What a wonderful Trunk or Treat we had on Saturday! There were some new twists, a Mini Messy Church and a come back trunk featuring Grace activities in December and January.
We love our community and enjoy hosting local families for food, fun and of course, candy!
If you were there, tell us what you liked and what you would like to see in 2027?

It was a joy and a blessing to welcome Carrie Murray, Columbia District president of the United Women of Faith yesterday. She brought a message about women in the Bible and the influence of women in the greater church.

Also, kudos to our United Women in Faith and women of Grace who led all the aspects of worship from acolyte to Apostle's Creed! What a great Sunday!

Our Pastor, Meg Sweeney-Cook, spent a few days last week with colleagues near and far learning at the Hey Preacher intensive. Look at that smile! While we missed her, it is such a great opportunity from which we will benefit as she preaches from the Grace pulpit.

There are lots of ways to support a pastor including tending the home fire while they grow as ministers!

Nine clergy from the South Carolina Conference were among those gathering this weekend for the 2026–2027 Preaching Innovation Cohort through United Methodist Discipleship Ministries. The cohort brings together clergy from nine annual conferences to explore new approaches to preaching, learn from leading homiletics scholars and one another, and rediscover the joy of preaching. We’re grateful for this opportunity to innovate and grow in the craft of proclaiming the good news!
