The news about the events at Cornell and the response to it have been much on our minds over the past week. We have experienced a range of emotions from enraged to frustrated to heartbroken. Many, women in particular, are wrestling with memories of their own traumatic experiences and those of people close to them.

For some, the prayers and rituals of the Church can be helpful. In that spirit, our chaplain will be available in the Brent House chapel today (Sunday the 4th) from 3-4:30 pm to listen, to pray and anoint with oil for healing, or simply to sit in silence. The driveway side door will be open, so there will be no need to ring the front doorbell.

If you would rather set up a time for private prayers or just to talk, please don't hesitate to contact Stacy.
