There's a lot going on this weekend. Tomorrow (Saturday) our PFLAG chapter will be meeting at 1:00 p.m. in front of Kroger's on State Street in Saginaw for the NO KINGS event. Look for us gathered under the pride flag.
On Sunday, 2:00 p.m., our monthly meeting will feature "Sharing Our Stories with Purpose." This ongoing project guides people to write their personal stories – how they have navigated life as an LGBTQ+ person, a family member, or an ally. One aim of the project is to transform these stories into letters, to be shared with elected officials, so that they might help influence legislation. At Sunday’s meeting a few of these letters will be read.
Meetings are at First United Methodist Church,4790 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, AND John’s Episcopal Church, 206 West Maple Street, Mount Pleasant.
The meeting concludes, as always, with a support session time. Light refreshments will be served. Meetings are always confidential.
We welcome everyone, including parents, friends, and allies of LGBTQ+ persons. Our Richard S. PFLAG resource library will be open.
And please share this post with others. Thanks.

On National Coming Out Day, we celebrate the courage it takes to live authentically and recognize everyone who chooses to share their true selves with the world—whenever and however they feel safe doing so. Your identity is valid and you are loved just as you are. ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 🖤 🤎🤍

Coming out is a personal journey, and it’s one you should never feel pressured to take. Whether you're out, thinking about it, or not ready yet—PFLAG loves you, supports you, and will be here for you every step of the way.
