With heavy heart I announce the unexpected promotion in glory of my good friend Pastor David Poeana, of Dallas. Please join me in prayer for Estera and Maranatha Romanian Church, Garland, TX in this heartbreaking moment.
David just turned 60 and freshly retired from his teaching position and was ready to do even more for God's Kingdom.
Bishop David Poeana was a kingdom leader, a visionary, an educator and a mentor. He planted churches, opened schools, trained countless ministers, helped the poor and loved God's people. He served as Senior Pastor of Maranatha Church, RTO Church of God Romanian Territory Ministerial Internship Coordinator, Dean of Vision International College.
Above everything he loved the Lord and deeply loved Estera.
Well done good and faithful servant! We will miss you!

This August we celebrate 32 years since we arrived in USA to attend with a full scholarship provided for us. Since then, we have attended every General Assembly.
The 80th GA is special. I am experiencing a sense of humility and gratitude for all God has done for us. To God be the Glory! It was a great honor to be part of the opening service in which God's glory showed up and Pastor Sam Rodriquez was God's voice for a time like this. "We don't lean, We Stand".

Today, my Mentor and spiritual Father, Bishop Billy J. Rayburn was promoted in glory at the venerable age of almost 93. He was a true General of the Faith and Church of God statesman. Brother Rayburn was the providential leader who organized the Church of God Romanian Territorial Office. In 1994 when I arrived in USA at the age of 24, Brother Rayburn believed in me, encouraged me, supported me, prophesied over me and advanced me before my age to Ordained Bishop. This man of God was instrumental in my life and in the lives of so many leaders. He did so much for the RTO Church of God Romanian Territory and Romanian people. I feel so humbled to hold the office he once held in COG. This is spiritual legacy. Praying for his family!
