Greetings Mech Cav brethren and friends. I just wanted to say Thank You for all your prayers and words of encouragement concerning my knee replacement surgery. Everything went well and the physical therapist says I'm doing great. Can't wait to get back on my iron horse and continue serving my Brothers.

Requesting prayers for SCV member Jimmy Young. He is a past 2nd Lt. Commander and current Adjutant of the Cleveland Regiments Camp 1663 in Shelby, NC.

He spent a month in the hospital, 2 weeks in ICU with the Flu turned Pneumonia and 2 weeks after in a regular room. The day before being shipped to rehab, he suffered massive internal bleeding when his small intestine tore away from his large intestine. He was airlifted to Pineville Hospital for emergency surgery. He remains there today. He is a good man and a faithful SCV Brother.

Requesting Prayers for the family of past SCV CIC Paul Gramling. His wife, Linda, has passed away and now resides in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas Mechanized Cavalry family!

Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior! God coming human flesh to be with us (Emmanuel) as never before in history. He grew up and lived as we do, yet without the sin that wrecks our lives. He then took our sin in His flesh and paid the penalty of sin with His death on the cross. He was Born to die so that we may live in peace and blessing. May the peace of God through Christ reside in your hearts this Christmas and always.
