Oh man, Let’s be real for a moment. This is a difficult thing to do, especially when more than one person is involved.
Not only are you battling what you’re hearing but what’s happening in the world around you, the one you can’t see.
The atmosphere is pretty stirred up and that spiritual adversary is right there, jumping on the bandwagon of your emotions. Trying to get you fired up so you will retaliate with that weapon in your mouth.
If you can manage to get your emotions under control and wait 24-48 hours, you won’t be seeing red and you’ll look at it from a different point of view. Eventually you’ll be able to speak God’s words instead of the enemies words, and what’s coming out of your flesh. Bless them instead of cursing them, and God will reward you with his blessing.
The LORD will decree a blessing on your barns and on everything to which you put your hand; the LORD your God will bless you in the land He is giving you.
