You’re invited! Join us for our Women's Missionary Society Annual Day at Miller Chapel A.M.E. Church at 10:30 A.M. on July 26th, 2026. THEME: Women of Faith: Exalting God through Ministry and Service. Dr. Darlene Reynolds of Greater St. John A.M.E. Church is our guest speaker.

"What was good in yesterday is still good for tomorrow."

That's Sankofa. That's the bird who looks BACK while carrying the egg of the future FORWARD. And it's the heart of what we're building this July at Miller Chapel A.M.E.

We're opening twenty seats — for twenty children, grades K through 5 — for three mornings of music, chess, heritage, mindfulness, art, and joy. Three mornings of being seen, named, and grown.

Three mornings. Three questions.

Day 1 — WHO I AM.
Day 2 — WHERE I'M FROM.
Day 3 — WHERE I'M GOING.

Your child will play real instruments. Learn the chess pieces by name (every one has a job — and so does your child). Hear the story of Richard Allen, the young man who bought his own freedom and built what nobody had built before. Plant seeds and watch what roots first. Print Adinkra symbols from Ghana. Sit in mindful silence. Solve tangram puzzles. Paint a Dream Big canvas. And sing — for you, at our closing Parent Showcase on Friday.
