Dear 5-Fold Global Partners and Friends. What will it take to get Christians worldwide to intercede for their brothers and sisters in persecuted nations? Today, Christians in five regions comprising 60 nations of the world face persecution and martyrdom for their faith in Christ. However, the most dangerous nation of them all is in Nigeria, West Africa. Since 2009, 185,000 Nigerians have been killed by jihadists, with over two-thirds of them being Christians. Over 7,000 Christians, 32 each day, have been martyred in Nigeria during the first 220 days of 2025. The goal of antichrist forces and the government is to eradicate Christianity in Nigeria, the most populous nation of Africa. How about the churches of Nigeria? A new report by the Nigeria-based International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, known as Intersociety, reveals a campaign of destruction so relentless it demands immediate action. According to their findings, jihadist groups are destroying roughly 100 churches every month. Since Boko Haram launched its bloody insurgency in 2009, an estimated 19,100 churches have been attacked, burned, or shut down at gunpoint.
What is God calling us to do. The most powerful force you can use on behalf of persecuted Christians is mass prayer. This Sunday, November 02, is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. You can join thousands and thousands of Christians and churches to present strong, united intercession for the persecuted.
