YOUTH RETREAT on the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist on the weekend
of July 6th. The Retreat was a wonderful experience where Patrick reminded the
youth of the importance of the Eucharist, how to share their thoughts and feelings to
God in Adoration.

SAINT MARTHA'S MINISTRY TO CATHOLICS OF AFRICAN ANCESTRY
APPLICATIONS FOR THE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS (for

les biberons, de rapporter les biberons à nos huissiers à la messe ou au Centre Paroissial. Ste. Marthe
transmettra votre contribution au Life Center de Long Island. Merci d'avoir participé à cette noble mission.

Bishop Coyle presiding.
* THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION for the Confirmandi will be held on
Tuesday, June 18th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Church.
* MANDATORY PRACTICE will be held on Friday, June 21st from 6:00-8:00 PM
in the Church. We will be joined by the Confirmandi from St. Martin de Porres
Marianist School.

and in paper form at the Parish Center and at the back of Church after Mass.
Completed registration that are PAID IN FULL BY JUNE 30th will receive a $10.00

FOR THE CATHOLIC MINISTRIES APPEAL.
FAMILY EMPOWERMENT SYMPOSIUM: St. Martha R. C. Church (SMRCC)
is proud to host the session entitled "Get Your House In Order" on Saturday, June
29, 2024 in St. Martha's Bethany Hall beginning at 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. ALL ARE
INVITED and welcome to attend. This is an opportunity to learn about the tools and
resources available for our families, to empower themselves in making decisions
about healthcare, financial and beyond. You will be able to complete certain
documents that will be beneficial, such as the Power of Attorney Form.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so that we can anticipate the attendance and have
ample materials. SIGN UP SHEETS are available in the back of Church.
Refreshments will be served. SPANISH AND CREOLE TRANSLATORS and

OF THEIR PATRONESS, OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP INCLUDES:

THE BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN CONTINUES. The Life Center of Long
Island has asked for St. Martha's help to further its mission of helping mothers and
fathers who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. The Center helps with
sonograms, maternity housing, medical care, referrals and more. Last year, St.
Martha's parishioners contributed $4,351.72 to the Center. We ask our parishioners
to take a baby bottle and put your change of money in it. PLEASE SEE THE
USHERS FOR THE BABY BOTTLES.
THE MINISTRY TO CATHOLICS OF AFRICAN ANCESTRY THANKS
ALL who attended, supported and donated to the Annual Tea Party and Fundraiser
for their Academic Achievement Award held on June 9, 2024.
YOUTH LECTOR TRAINING: Any child (4th grader or older) or high schoolers
who is interested in becoming a Youth Lector, to read at the Masses, is invited to
attend a new Lector Training. It will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 12:00

THE ENGLISH ROSARY SOCIETY OF SAINT MARTHA HELD ITS LAST
MEETING ON THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2024. We want to sincerely thank Martha
Ann Brady for all her loyalty and faithful leadership throughout the years. Please
know that praying the Rosary continues and includes:
* Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet after all 8:30 AM weekday Masses in the Chapel
* The English Prayer Group prays the Rosary on Monday evenings starting at 6:00
PM in the Chapel. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place on the first
Monday of every month.
