We had such a wonderful Homecoming weekend at Bluff Springs. Our former pastor, Ken Lynch, challenged us and encouraged us and our worship service led by David and the choir was such a blessing and time of praise and worship. We enjoyed former Pastor Kenneth McClain, his wife Wilma and their daughter Joy who drove down from Indiana to be with us. Also attending was Mable Crocker and Harold Germany who have been part of Bluff Springs longer than any of us. We appreciate all those who traveled to be here for the weekend and those who came from just down the road. I was especially happy to have my mom, brother and sister in law here for the weekend from South Carolina.

A special thank you to all the folks who worked so hard on decorating, preparing food, serving and cleaning up. I am posting some pictures compliments of Joy McClain. We are thankful for the message Bluff Springs has shared for 125 years and as Bro. Ken shared, we must continue to share the message of the gospel!!

The Newton County Appeal ran a very nice article on our upcoming homecoming with a very nice picture. We appreciate it so much but they listed the choir program time as 6:30. The correct time is 6:00!!

Everyone gets excited when family is coming to visit and Bluff Springs is excited! We have cleaned, repaired, planned, cooked and most of all we have prayed for this weekend. Now we need you to come be a part of it. Remember the Homecoming Choir program at 6:00 on Saturday with fellowship time to follow and Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30 with former pastor, Ken Lynch speaking. Come on home!!

We are pretty sure we won't have snow for Homecoming but we can promise a warm welcome. Hope you are making plans to be at Bluff Springs on October 3 at 6:00 for the choir program and Sunday Morning worship at 10:30.
