Sunday in Children’s Church, we learned about SELF-CONTROL 🍉

We talked about how a watermelon may look tough and hard on the outside, but inside it is sweet and good. Sometimes people can be upset, hurt, or angry on the outside, but God wants what’s on the inside of our hearts to be full of kindness, love, and self-control.

We learned from the story of The Bible about Saul and David. Even when Saul treated David unfairly, David chose self-control and kindness instead of revenge. David showed us that God can help us respond the right way, even when it’s difficult.

We are so proud of our kids for learning that true strength comes from showing kindness and self-control!

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸

As we reflect on their sacrifice, may we also be reminded of the hope, love, and grace found in Christ alone.

Yesterday in Children’s Church, we learned about being rooted in Jesus! 🌱
Our summer focus is all about growing stronger in our faith and staying connected to Christ. We need to stay rooted in Jesus through prayer, reading His Word, and trusting Him daily.
We are so excited to spend the summer helping our children grow deeper in their relationship with God!

“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught” – Colossians 2:7
