It is with a heavy heart and great sense of loss that we announce the passing of our brother in Christ, devoted father, beloved pastor, and President of MBCH, Dr. Juston Gates. Dr. Gates was recently hospitalized for injuries sustained on a business-related hunting trip, and he eventually succumbed to those injuries on April 23, 2026 at 12:02am.

Dr. Gates went to be with the Lord with his family standing by his side. He was well known for his love of and obedient service to Jesus Christ. He had a deep love for his family, both his family at home as well as his MBCH family. Dr. Gates will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, and we continue to welcome prayers for his family and friends, as well as for MBCH leadership as we mourn this great loss.

A Memorial service for Dr. Juston Gates will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, Details to follow.

Wanted to send out this reminder that NEXT Saturday at 3-430 pm our Association Christian life leaders, Emma and Stephanie Manhart, are sponsoring an informational and training meeting on ministering to expectant mothers and families at abortion clinics.
The training will be held at at our Franklin Baptist Association office.

This is a unique but very needed ministry. If God has put this ministry need on your heart, I encourage you to attend, or send someone from your church, if possible.

Franklin Baptist Association Church Camp registration notice.

Wanted to send out this reminder that the deadline for receiving camper registrations for our church camps this summer is June 19.  Registration forms need to be completed online and camp fees and should be paid to your local church you register with.

For those of you who did not know, or may have forgot to register, I want to send out this reminder that Franklin Baptist Association is hosting a Church Safety Seminar at the Ministry Center on May 31, conducted by the Franklin County sheriffs department. I encourage you to get some of your folks at church to attend, if possible.

Register by May 29 through the following registation link, or call our association office at 636-583-2639 with the number attending from your church.
