We were grateful to have Bro. Paul Sizemore and his wife, Donna Kay, worship with us today. Bro. Paul serves at FBC Collinsville and is currently enjoying a well deserved sabbatical.

Bro. Paul, we are praying that this season will be one of true rest, renewed strength, and fresh encouragement as you seek the Lord. May He refresh your heart, deepen your walk with Him, and prepare you for the next season of faithful ministry. We look forward to seeing how the Lord continues to use you for His glory at FBC Collinsville.

SERVE DAY: LET'S LOVE OUR TOWN WELL

We are excited to partner with the Union MS Chamber of Commerce for this year's Sweeping Through Union event. This is a great opportunity for First Baptist Church Union to put our faith into action by serving the town God has called us to love. Good churches are good neighbors!

Whether you can give an hour or the whole morning, there is a place for you. Individuals, families, students, and senior adults are all welcome. There are jobs for every skill level.

Friday, July 17
8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
We are helping to spruce up two main areas:
Downtown Union (Bank Street & Main Street) and the Union Community Park

Volunteer opportunities include:
• Pressure washing buildings, signs, and sidewalks
• Pulling weeds and refreshing landscaping
• Sanding and painting where needed
• Picking up trash, sticks, and debris
• Cleaning public spaces
• Sidewalk and minor repair projects
• Bathroom cleanup and repairs
• Helping make Union a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming place for everyone

We believe serving our neighbors is one way we demonstrate the love of Christ. We want our community to know that First Baptist Church is here not only on Sundays, but throughout the week, seeking the good of our town.

What do you do when the biggest problem in your life is the one you can't fix?

We spend so much of our lives trying harder, doing better, and carrying burdens we were never meant to bear. But what if the answer isn't found in doing more?

This Sunday, we'll walk through Ruth 3 and discover one of the most beautiful pictures of the Gospel in the Old Testament.
You'll see a woman with nothing to offer. Her redeemer who welcomes her humble faith. And a story that points us to Jesus Christ, our greater Redeemer.

If you've ever wondered...
Am I good enough?
Have I done enough?
Can I really be forgiven?

Then don't miss this message from Ruth 3. And know our Redeemer will not rest until redemption is accomplished.

After meeting with the Neshoba County Fair Officials, checking the Fair schedule, looking at the weather, and studying the Bible, we decided we would still have church this Sunday and never considered an alternative. 😜

If you traveled in for the fair, come see us. FBC Union is not that far of a drive. It'll be worth it. 8:30am or 11am for Worship and Sunday School in between! See ya there.
