Well here we are, about to say goodbye to yet another year and hello to another. It has been an amazing journey this year.
Yeah, we might have fallen down a couple times, but we got back up in the name of Jesus.
We didn’t fall outta God’s Grace, He still held me in His hands. So guess what devil, we’re walking into 2025 with our heads held high, declaring that Jesus is still in control of my life. He is the reason I made it this far. He is the reason I didn’t stay down, He is the reason I didn’t just survive the year, but I came through with a stride to survive! I am praising Him because I believe that He is able to finish what He started in my life!
My God is bigger, better, stronger and greater.
I am walking into 2025 declaring GREATER IS HE!!!
Stay strong this season, don’t let go of the life source, hang onto His hands and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Happy New Year to you all and stay safe!!! Remember our church service begins @10:30 Sunday morning!!! See you there.

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean." — Matthew 23:27

In this striking metaphor, Jesus confronts the Pharisees with their hypocrisy. On the surface, they maintain an appearance of righteousness, adhering to religious laws and customs meticulously, presenting themselves as models of virtue. Yet, inwardly, they lack true spiritual vitality and purity. Jesus likens them to whitewashed tombs—pristine and beautiful externally but containing decay within.

This imagery serves as a powerful caution to all believers. It calls us to examine our own lives, urging us not to be satisfied with merely appearing virtuous. True Christian living demands authenticity and a heart that aligns with God’s will, not just outward compliance with religious expectations. The external acts of piety are meaningless if they are not backed by genuine moral substance and love.

The lesson here is about integrity. We are reminded to cultivate inner righteousness that surpasses our outward deeds. This approach not only aligns us more closely with God’s desires but also leads to a more profound, impactful Christian witness.

Let this verse challenge you to reflect on your spiritual life. Are there areas where you focus more on appearance than on actual substance? Today, seek to nurture a heart that is clean and full of life, so that what is inside can be as commendable as what is shown outside.

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" — John 11:40

In this pivotal moment from the Gospel of John, Jesus speaks to Martha before raising Lazarus from the dead. His words are a powerful reminder of the relationship between faith and the divine manifestations of God’s power. Jesus challenges Martha, and all of us, to believe—not after seeing miracles, but as a precondition to witnessing them.

This verse invites us to consider our own approach to faith. Do we wait to see signs and wonders before we commit our belief, or do we trust God’s promises and thereby open the door for Him to work mightily in our lives? Jesus' question to Martha calls for a faith that precedes the visible, a trust in God’s character and His word.

The story of Lazarus is a testament to the truth that God’s glory is often revealed most profoundly when we step out in faith. It encourages believers to maintain faith even when circumstances seem dire or when God’s plans are unclear. This kind of faith does not ignore reality but sees beyond it to the greater truth of God’s ultimate authority and loving purpose.

As we reflect on this passage, we need to ask ourselves if we are truly prepared to take God at His word. Believing in God's power and goodness can transform how we view our challenges and opportunities. Let us then believe, not after seeing, but so that we may see the glory of God unfold in our lives.
