We're grateful for another opportunity to serve the community through The Salvation Army Kearny Corps Choice Food Pantry.

Thanks to our volunteers, staff, and donors, the Corps is able to provide food assistance to local individuals and families each month. The groceries on these tables help support our neighbors by providing nourishment, relief, and a reminder that they are not alone.

🍩One week until National Donut Day!

Did you know National Donut Day was established by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the Donut Lassies, the women who served donuts, supplies, and encouragement to soldiers on the front lines during World War I?

Nearly 90 years later, we continue to celebrate their legacy of compassion, service, and caring for others when it matters most.

Stay tuned next week as we share more about the history behind this special day, ways to celebrate, and some sweet surprises along the way!

Who knew 3.1 miles could go so far? 👟❤️
The inaugural Running for the Most Good Virtual 5K brought together 426 participants and raised more than $34,000 to support Salvation Army programs and services throughout New Jersey.

From families and friends to businesses, community partners, and supporters, we were inspired by the incredible response and the many people who chose to walk, run, donate, and cheer others on along the way.

Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, donated, shared a post, or encouraged a friend to join. Together, you helped make this first year a tremendous success.

We can't wait to see where the road takes us in 2027!

What an incredible weekend at Youth Councils 2026 for The Salvation Army New Jersey Division.
This year’s theme, “Level Up,” challenged young people to grow deeper in their faith and strengthen their relationship with Jesus.

Throughout the weekend, youth from across New Jersey came together for worship, fellowship, games, music, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable moments of encouragement and connection.

A little competition between brothers for the Running for the Most Good Virtual 5k!

Owen is running for The Salvation Army Trenton Citadel Corps and Ben is running for Salvation Army of Vineland!

Today is the final day of the virtual race, and there’s still time to participate. It’s a beautiful day here in New Jersey and a great chance to get in 3.1 miles while supporting The Salvation Army’s mission across the state.
