Sunday, August 17, Antioch will be hosting our joint services with a number of other churches. Brother Terry Biggs will be presenting the message and our wonderful pianist, Caleb Parker along with a couple of his friends, will be inspiring us with special music. Both of these gentlemen do a great job and we’d love to have you join us. Additionally there will be finger foods after the service which will begin at 5.

Good beautiful morning, friends! Antioch will be celebrating Decoration Day on Sunday, May 18. Please note that services on this particular Sunday will be at 11:00 a.m. rather than our usual 9:30 a.m. time. Brother Terry Biggs will be bringing our message and we’ll follow up with a meal of barbecue and all the sides and then close out the day with a cemetery association meeting immediately following the meal. We’d love to have you join us for our service any Sunday and would be so glad for you to join us on Decorations Day when we remember friends and family who are no longer with us.

On Wednesday, May 7, we’re starting a new study on the Book of Revelations with our Pastor, Brother Terry Biggs, leading us. If you’re out in the Crystal community and are interested we’d love to have you join us. If you’re looking for a church family, we’d love to have you for that as well. We’ll start our study at 5:30 p.m.

BLESSINGS, PROTECTION, GRACE, FAVOR, and PEACE!!!
Our verses of scripture for today, known as "The Priestly Blessing", are a beautiful reminder of how God loves and cares for His people. The Lord told Moses to bless the Israelites with these words of encouragement. I believe it would be wonderful if ALL of us would encourage each other with these powerful words!!! There are times when we ALL need to be encouraged and reminded that God loves us, and is watching over us. What a powerful prayer to pray for one another: "That God would bless and protect you, let His face shine upon you, be gracious to you, look with favor on you , and give you peace!!!" --- I would certainly be pleased for anyone to pray this prayer for me!!! How about YOU? --- WHY DON'T WE ALL PRAY THIS PRAYER FOR EACH OTHER RIGHT NOW?

GET YOUR "TASTER" READY!!! --- Ok, I admit it. There are a lot of things about this world that I do not know. There are even more things about life that I do not understand. When I begin a new day, I do not know what kind of day that it will turn out to be. I never know what kind of problems and challenges that I may face. The fact is, I do not even know if I will live through the day. But there IS something that I DO KNOW and am VERY SURE about: GOD IS GOOD!!! NO MATTER WHAT, GOD IS GOOD!!! It is just like the song says: "GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, and ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!!!" Our scripture verse for today says for us to "taste and see that the Lord is good." --- Well, I HAVE TASTED, and I HAVE SEEN, THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!!! I gladly TRUST and take REFUGE in HIM!!! --- How about YOU?
Have you tasted, have you seen, that THE LORD IS GOOD?
