First Assembly is a New Testament church in a modern-day world desiring for people to know Christ by having a relationship with Him, to grow in Christ by opening up His Word and learning from it, and to show Christ & His love with everyone we come in contact with.

My prayer over UC1 this morning: My Father in Heaven, may we the people of Union City First Assembly of God Church wake up this morning to an awareness of Your purpose and plan for us today.
Help us to see the potential that we have to upset the plans of the spirit of darkness and to impact the Kingdom of Heaven.
Give us boldness to speak words of Life to those we encounter today!
Help us be people of Holy Spirit empowerment in word and deed!

Words cannot express the level of gratitude that Deana Hall and I have for our congregation, our leadership team, and ministry leaders. Today we celebrated 20-years as the pastors of UC1 along with my birthday.
The video greetings of lifelong friends, outpouring of love, cards, and “thank you” from you all was amazing. The gifts were over the top and we are very blessed to walk this assignment with you all.

BIG celebration at UC1 this Sunday, May 3. Congratulations to Pastor Tommy & Sister Deana on their 20th anniversary of serving as our Lead Pastors. Words cannot express how much your church family loves you. All friends are invited to come out & show your appreciation to this amazing couple. Lunch will be served right after our 10:30 service. There will be a box available for cards. There just might be a few surprises too. Bonus: it is also Pastor's birthday.

Reminder that tomorrow is Missions Sunday for the Dyersburg Section Churches.
-Greg & Ronda Tabor, Cambodia will be at UC1 Assembly of God in the AM service.
-John & Kelli Williford, Philippines will be at Trimble Assembly of God Church in the AM service.
-Maddie Ashburn, UTK Chi Alpha will be at Martin First Assembly in the AM service.
All three of these will join together for an evening Missions service @5 PM at UC1 Assembly of God as the Dyersburg Section Churches come together for one special evening. See you all there.
