My people perish for lack of knowledge- Hosea 4:6 “God is wisdom”! Without God man will perish! Man’s greatest problem is himself. New age tells us to look inside ourselves for answers but that’s what creates our problems ( Adam &Eve )When we do this “self becomes god”. We must look outside of self. The things of the spirit are foolishness to the carnal mind. The spirit is life! We don’t have to look far to see who our greatest enemy is. It’s the “carnal unrenewed mind”! When we try to figure things out by ourself and bypass seeking God who is the source of all wisdom we get our selves in a mess! Adam and Eve relied on their own personal ability to make the decision to eat from the tree God warned them about! They gave themselves permission to do the opposite of what God said. The fruit was very appealing and enticing. The desire to be like God was not wrong in itself but when we bypass Gods instructions to get what we want it is outright sin and rebellion! True success is only possible by following the instruction of Gods word and being led by His Spirit!
