Sowing Oaks bible study postponed due to my work schedule. Sorry everyone. I hope I can find a time that works. Until then, it’s postponed until further notice. I hope everyone enjoyed the studies and learned valuable things in life. Keep Jesus first and keep on pressing on. Remember, having a relationship with Jesus is the most important thing you could ever do in life. He will get you through the hard times if you keep on trusting in him. Love you all!

5/9/24 Tonight we learned about taking up our cross and following Jesus. Through the trials of life our we will be tested. We learned that we were given a cross to bear and that no matter how hard it is, pick it up and keep in walking towards Jesus. We learned that a disciple is a follower of Christ and that anyone who gives up their life will find it. We learned that we must deny our selfish desires and follow God’s will for our lives because he knows what best. Sometimes, God allows trials to come into our lives to set us on a new path in a different direction. So we take our circumstances and use them to help others bear their cross. We learned about how the crowd chose to let Barabbas go instead of Jesus, the innocent one. But we are Barabbas, unworthy of the love Christ gave to us when he let us go free as he made a public presentation of his love. 💕Matthew 16:22

Today we learned about how Jesus is our living water. He is our source that fills us with the water of life. When we trust in him, he quenches our spiritual thirst. We no longer feel like something is missing. We no longer feel empty. We are filled to the top and it spills over into eternal life. We played a water game where we used a sponge to pour water into our container. Both teams did amazing so they all won. I love each and everyone of them. We had a good time together. Join us for a fun times of studying God’s word together at my home. It will start at 5:30 pm Thursday 5/2. We will have games and prizes. Bring a friend or come if you’re curious. I’m sure God will speak to each individual the way they need ministered to. Take time out of your week to join us and reflect on the scriptures as I break it down to easy understandable language. I desire everyone to be saved and to know the Jesus that dramatically changed my heart. He can do the same for you but it’s up to you to open it. See you soon!

It’s late in the night and I’m sitting here thinking about how Jesus took our place. He took the beating so we could be delivered from all kinds of sin and sickness. He took our shame upon the cross so we could walk in guiltless freedom. We look up to people as idols and think of people as so important but what about Jesus! He should be your God. He should be who you run to when you are tired of living. He is your source of strength. People will let you down even the churchiest ones. But Jesus, he will never let you down. He keeps his promises. He is everything we need and more!
Believe in Jesus and call upon his name to confess your sin and you will be saved!

4/25/24 Today we talked about the difference between Heaven and Hell according to the Bible. We learned that Hell is eternal separation from God. We learned that it is everlasting torment not initially meant for humans. We learned that Heaven has 12 foundations made of precious stones. Heaven has a crystal river flowing from the throne of God. We leaned that in our measurements, Heaven is a cube 1,500 miles wide in each direction. If Heaven were a building, it would be 600,000 stories high. Sin cannot enter Heaven. There is no need for light because Jesus is the light of Heaven. We choose if we go to Heaven or Hell by trusting in Jesus or denying him. We had raffle drawings for the prize table and ate Tacos.
