Bethel Family and Friends! I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your invaluable contributions in making our pre-Thanksgiving meal giveaway a resounding success!

This year, we were able to serve over 100 meals to our community members in need. A special thank you goes to Brother Arthur and Sister Carolyn Clark, along with Sister Tina Coleman and Sister Chan Dunston of MaeLaNae’s Catering, for their generous donations. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sister Jackie Handy and Sister Pat Bostic, who, despite not being members of our church, graciously volunteered their time and effort.

I am truly grateful to God for the abundance of people who participated in this event. From the engaging social media team posts and generous givers to the dedicated food preparers, servers, delivery drivers, and volunteers, each of you played a crucial role in making this possible. I sincerely hope that each of you who participated in this event received a blessing in giving and serving others. This act of kindness and generosity aligns perfectly with the teachings of our faith, as recorded by the Apostle Paul in Acts 20:35, which states, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Tuesday, November 25th Bethel AME Church & MaeLaNae’s Catering will be serving FREE Pre-Thanksgiving meals to the homeless & needy families. We will also be delivering to the sick & shut in. If you know of anyone in need of a warm meal, send them over!
