What parts of your life have you marked “AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY” when it comes to God?

We often want God involved in our lives. We want His direction. His peace. His blessing. His help when everything feels like it is falling apart.

But sometimes, without even realizing it, we give God limited access.

We invite Him into Sunday morning, but keep Him out of our decisions. We trust Him with our future, but not our finances. We ask Him to heal our relationships, but refuse to let Him challenge the way we treat people.

And eventually, we have to wrestle with a difficult truth:

“You can’t expect the full blessing from God when you only give Him limited access to your life.” - Pastor Bill Bailey

What if the things coming apart in your life aren't signs that everything is falling apart... but signs that God is still building?

This week, we kicked off our new series, Under Construction, by exploring a powerful truth from the story of Gideon: "God tears down what is temporary so He can build something lasting."

Sometimes God lovingly dismantles the things we've been leaning on so He can build something deeper, stronger, and more lasting within us: Peace. Kindness. Joy. Endurance. Hope.

Here's a thought from Sunday's message:
"Hope doesn't require us to deny reality. Hope simply refuses to believe that reality, as it exists today, is the final word."

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at SAC!

Today, we celebrate the women who have loved deeply, sacrificed quietly, prayed faithfully, and carried strength into every season of life. Whether you are a mom, grandmother, spiritual mother, mentor, or someone who has simply shown up with compassion and care, thank you for the difference you make every single day.

We also recognize that today can carry many emotions. For some, it is joyful. For others, it is tender and difficult. No matter what this day feels like for you, we want you to know this: you are seen, valued, and loved.
