I have been grieving a personal loss in novel and December. Last month my best friend since 1998 passed away during a routine checkup. He had to be put under and passed during checkup. He is greatly missed.

This month on December 2 my precious loving cat Cinnamon had to be put down due to a sudden growth of a cancerous tumor which made her stop eating and drinking. It came on so suddenly that treating was not an option. My only solace is knowing that my prayers for her to be given to my parents so mother can care and love her unto I join them in heaven and be with her eternally. She is missed every day and that will never stop. We had such a special bond. Here is a photo of us and her remains on my desk. She will be cremated a second time with me when it’s my time. Thank you all for being a part of my family of faith and God Bless everyone.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

It is God who is able to keep us from falling away from the faith. It is he who is able to sanctify us and make us ultimately blameless before him. God has not willed for such perfection to come in this life, but he has promised it to us in the next life. The promise of ultimate victory should encourage us to persevere and should drive us to God, the only source of our power for sanctification.

O Lord, you have given us a sure hope of final and full victory over Satan and indwelling sin. We look forward to that day with joy. And we rejoice even now over the work you have begun in us. This hope in us does not lead us to sloth, but it strengthens our souls as we carry our cross. Amen.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Romans 6:5

The day is coming when we will be raised from the dead with a glorified body, of the sort that Jesus had after his Resurrection. We can only speculate on exactly what that new body and state will be like, but we know it will free us from all pain and suffering.

You, Lord Jesus, are the resurrection and the life. We believe in you. Though our mortal bodies should die, you will raise them again and make them like Your glorious body. And we who are alive at Your coming (the Rapture) will never die but our bodies will be changed in a moment, and so shall we ever be with you, Lord. Let this promise of future resurrection give us hope and encourage us even today. Amen.

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bo***ge. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

It is easy to judge the Israelites for their idol worship and their poor decisions, but we often act the same way. God brought the Israelites out of slavery and bo***ge, yet they complained because they did not get the food they wanted. Has there been a time when you complained because you did not get what you wanted? Before you think you would not act like the Israelites, consider what you worship. We should have no other gods in our life. It does not have to be a god-like monument – anything that takes our attention from our savior can be an idol.

Dear God, forgive me for the times I have failed to see all the ways you have rescued me. Forgive my grumbling when things did not go my way. When I begin to have a negative attitude, may I be reminded of the Israelites and their journey out of Egypt. Allow me to learn from their story. When I exalt anyone or anything above you, make it known to me so that I may repent and turn away from this idol worship. Thank you for your mercy and your grace. In Jesus' name, amen.

I have been away this past couple days but I’m back and hear was today’s
Morning Prayer

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Inspiration

In this world, you will have enemies. There will be times when you are afraid. But, when you place your faith in God, you will find refuge. Like young birds are protected by their parents, God will offer you the same protection. Call on him when you need protection and he will cover you. You can rest safely with Him like a baby bird would do under the wings of its father. Believing in his truths will provide you with a shield and buckler – more protection against enemies and destruction.

Prayer

Dear God, thank you for loving me enough to rescue me from my sin. You call me your child and you love me as a father. When I am afraid, let me feel you near. May I draw to you to find refuge and protection. I am placing my trust in you completely. While I know I will face struggles here on earth, help me to remember that you will never leave me or forsake me. O Lord, I cling to your promises. In Jesus' name, amen.

Morning Prayer

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Inspiration

So you love the Lord. What do you do about that? Isaiah was cleansed of His sin. The first thing he did was to say, "Send me. " Are you willing to be sent by the Lord? Will you go for the Lord? Now, this may or may not mean traveling to another place. But essentially it means to do the will of the Lord and what He is calling You to do. The Lord has something for you. Follow His lead. If you don't feel He is leading you, then prepare yourself to be sent, pray that He will send you, and wait for Him.

Prayer

Lord, I want to do Your will. You have saved me and I am so grateful for that. You are too good to me. Send me. I want to do your work. I want to do whatever You have for me. If You ask me to be a janitor, I will. If You ask me to share the good news of Jesus with a friend or stranger, I will speak. If You ask me to give up my possessions, I will. If You send me somewhere I don't want to go, I will obey. Whatever it is, send me. In Jesus' holy name amen.

After I was saved from my addictions, which was a true miracle by prayer, I was called upon to heal and save others. And since I have also become a Reiki Master and Reverend to help heal the ones who seek a life free from addiction and affliction. With the Lords helping hands and the Grace from God through me I have been able to do just that. And with the power of prayer all is possible. I thank the Lord every day for what He has bestowed upon me. I also want to thank all those who come to this page of Prayer and I plan to share more of my thoughts of Faith.

These daily prayers are from an online Bible that I share. I do not want to take credit for writing those. I’m always learning and will share my true thoughts and any prayers the Lord sends to me. Thank you all.

Morning Prayer

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Inspiration

Through Jesus Christ alone are we made "alive unto God. " If we are dead to sin, then it wil lose its power over us. If we are alive to God, we will respond in love and obedience to his Word and his Spirit

Prayer

Help us to live this day as dead indeed to sin and alive indeed to you, O Lord. You are the source of our life and the focus of our life. All of the spiritual exercises that you animate in us are directed back to you as the object of our affection and praise. With renewed minds and wills, let us serve you out of pure heart faithfully. Amen.

Night Prayer

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Inspiration

It is sad for me to think about the billions of people that are never taught about Christ. Even worse are the billions of people that are refusing His love. What do you have to lose by believing? Nothing at all. More importantly, what do you stand to lose by not believing? Think about that.

Prayer

Jesus Christ, son of God, every day I thank Your Father that I have a relationship with You. I do not deserve it, I did not ask for it, but You came for me because You know what I need. I need You now, precious Lord Jesus. My friends and family need You too. Give me the wisdom to speak to them humbly and help convince them of the power of Your love, and the patience to know when or when not to speak. In accordance with Your commandments, I humbly ask this prayer, Amen.

Morning Prayer

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Inspiration

We cannot appreciate the magnitude of God's gift of eternal life until we first understand that the wages of sin is death. Wages are what we "earned, " what we "deserve. " "Death" is not only physical death, here, but spiritual and eternal death. Our sin was an offense to the infinitely holy God, and thus justly deserved eternal punishment. But God's grace, which was greater than all our sin, brings us eternal life instead.

Prayer

Lord, help us to see that your punishment for sin is just and to sense something of the true heinousness of sin. Help us to appreciate more fully how much we were forgiven, and having been forgiven much, to love much. Amen.

Morning Prayer

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Inspiration

Part of being a Christian is humbling ourselves and realizing that without God, our lives truly mean nothing. We are to acknowledge that we have made a conscious choice to turn away from the bad deeds and sinful habits, and we have turned to the holy life God has presented before us.

Prayer

Father, I humbly present myself as one who has chosen to turn away from their sinful ways. It is a choice I made when I chose to follow you and Lord, it is a choice I intend to abide in. Father, help me to walk in a way that is worthy of this calling. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
