Tell a true story
Of the Fathers love
Just fore me and you.

Red is for the blood He gave
Green is for the palms to wave
Yellow is for the sun so bright
Orange is for the edge of night
Blue is for the skies above
White is for His purest love
Black is for His hours of sorrow
Pink is for our new tomorrow
Brown is for His cross of pain
Purple is for His eternal reign.

A bag full of jelly beans.
Colorful and sweet,
Is a prayer, is a promise.
Is an Easter treat.

What kind of Church is this?

First Christian Church of Tyrone, Georgia exists as part of a movement of churches seeking Christian unity by means of New Testament truth, believing this to be God’s designated means to reaching the world for Christ. This movement of churches is referred to as the Restoration Movement, as we attempt to restore to the church unity in truth, thereby restoring to the church God’s purpose and plan for proclaiming Christ to the world.

We wish not to form another denomination, division, or sect of the church; rather, we call for all believers to set aside denominational ties and seek devotion solely to Christ and his church as set forth in the New Testament.

We choose to wear only the name “Christian,” finding no authority in any man-made creed, document, or statement; rather we hold uncompromisingly to the truths of Scripture as our only authority for faith and practice; speaking boldly where Scriptures speak, and allowing liberty where Scriptures are silent.
