Resurrection Brings Hope

Colossians 3:3v.

Without the Resurrection there can be no Salvation and without Salvation there is no hope.

Salvation is not a feeling! It is a Reality! You have to know it

Once you are saved, no one can take that away from you!

Satan will try to make you feel that you are not saved, when we mess up, but we must remember that no matter what;
Your Life and Salvation are both hidden in God, and no one else can take it away.

1.) Salvation has rescued us from the penalty of sin, which is death ( our past)

2.) Salvation is rescuing us from the principle of sin in our daily lives ( our present)

3.) Salvation also is further working to rescue us from the overall presence of sin while we continue to live ( our future)

So this day we celebrate Jesus getting up and moving out of that tomb, now we have hope beyond the cross and beyond the grave.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Amazing Grace How Sweet The Sound

John 14:27v. " PEACE I leave with you; my (own) peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. { Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled."
Today marks the beginning of the second week of ADVENT, where the theme is the practiced of PEACE. " Peace is freedom from disturbance; tranquility. I must confess, being quarantined, not able to do what I normally do, I have had some moments of unrest.
That is why we can not allow the culture or the temperature of what is happening in our world today, take us to a place of disturbing goings on.
There will become a time when our world will return to it finest hour where we will have a sense of peace.
The word Advent simply means the coming, and those of us, who by faith and hope continuously wait on that time where we can celebrate a sense of peace.
Peace is where God's calm and God's tranquility overrule our concerns.
Now there are other kinds of relational conflicts.
Parents and their children war against each other.
Coworkers battle against one another.
People of different racial, social, or class groups face ongoing conflict-- blacks vs. white, rich vs. poor, etc.
Everywhere we turn around, there's a war.
Jesus faced the cross with concerns for His disciples' needs. Their greatest need and our is for PEACE, a life of wholeness, security, meaning, and of hope.
Through the power of the Spirit; Jesus' followers can have PEACE.
The world can offer only grandiose dreams that never materialize.
Philippians 4:7, says " And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
My brothers and sisters, practice this, " Act like a thing is so, even though it is not so, that it may become so."
Now that's Faith.
Peace spoken in any language, means just that, PEACE.

In the Message Bible, Proverbs 29:25, says " The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in God protects you from that. You can be addicted to a lot of different things like alcohol, drugs, s*x, gambling, and even food. But, you can also be addicted to APPROVAL.
When your identity is wrapped up in other people's acceptance, you set yourself up for an APPROVAL addiction, because your sense of self-worth is always on the line.
We are so accustomed to wearing a disguise before everyone, that eventually we are unable to recognize ourselves.
That's not how God wants you to live! No one's approval or disapproval can affect you- UNLESS YOU GIVE IT CREDIBILITY.
Someone wisely pointed out, that when we are young we worry about what people think and we try to please them.
When we are middle-aged, we get tired of trying to please everybody.
And as we get older and wiser, we realize, most of the time, they weren't even thinking about us at all!
Guess what? There are times when pleasing God means you won't be able to please people- and we must accept that!
As long as we can give excuses, and as long as we can blame it on something or someone else and don't deal with truth, we killing ourselves.
Some of us will never get any better, until somebody gets the guts to tell us the TRUTH.
Whether it's drugs, s*x, po*******hy, alcohol, codependency, gambling, food or attention we will always feel trapped, and there seems to be no way out.
Know your worth, God made you who He wanted you to be, but when you are always going to others for them to tell you who are, and for their applause, you will ultimately loose yourself.
Stand up, you are somebody no matter what they say or know about you, God already knows the story.
