Monday's Message
We don’t know what tomorrow brings. The Bible says in James 4:14 (KJV), “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.” That’s why we cannot spend our lives trapped in our heads, replaying old hurt, old chains, old failures, and old mindsets. God never intended for His people to stay bound to what He already brought them out of.
Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV) says, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing.” Some of us are trying to walk into a new season while still carrying old bo***ge. But you cannot fully move forward while dragging yesterday behind you. What felt good in the past may not be healthy for your future. So you cannot keep acting in old ways and expect God to reveal new growth in your present.
Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV) says, “Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark.” That’s the mindset believers must have right now. Forget the past and embrace your now. Live in the moment God has given you. Walk righteous in the moment. Breathe in the grace of God daily. Because when your present is surrendered to Christ, your future starts lining up differently.
The enemy will attack. Setbacks will come. Difficult days will happen. But Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” When you walk daily with Christ, God gives you strength before the battle even arrives. He prepares your spirit to stand tall when pressure comes.
Ephesians 6:13 (KJV) says, “And having done all, to stand.” That means when attacks come, you don’t fold. You don’t quit. You don’t lose yourself. You stand because God already strengthened you in the process.
This is the message today: Make a move. Be intentional. Be mindful about how you move, what you speak, where you go, and who you allow around your spirit. Colossians 3:2 (KJV) says, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
I’m not saying every day will feel good. Some days will hurt. Some days will challenge you. But Romans 8:28 (KJV) reminds us, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” Even in the bad days, be intentional enough to believe God is still working.
So keep moving forward.
Keep growing.
Keep trusting God.
And keep your hands in God’s hands.
